Too much shooting and not enough blogging dear Reader, but i guess that’s how it should be.
Anyway, after delivering the album, it’s time to let the world see the elegant vintage wedding of Jade and Will in Great Cranford.
We knew it would be a good day when we were met by the nicest guard-dog in the world.
We meet the lads – where else – at the pub.
Now i’m not saying the vicar should have his own sitcom, but the vicar should definitely have his own sitcom. His sermon on marriage being like fortified wine was a tour de force.
For me, weddings are about people but the details can really help shape the atmosphere. The vintage wedding stationery, from Dottie Creations was simply stunning with beautiful finishing touches everywhere. Where ever you see a flower, that was masterfully made by Michele Gledhill. You thought that was just a marquee didn’t you? Not after it was dressed!
The coup de grace of the best man’s speech was the golf ball surreptitiously passed to Jade to be dropped in Will’s pint.
Katie at Couture Cakes managed to do the near impossible and match the standard of the other details with her stunning cakes.
One chap made a personal quest out of the consumption of the complimentary beverages. He then settled down for the night in the seating area and this seemed clearly the easiest way to move him.
Let’s just say what came next from our hero wasn’t quite as elegant as the rest of the day – although it was of a certain vintage: about an hour old – and he wasn’t moved a moment too soon. Disapproving faces all round.
Now time for a more romantic moment.
Not everyone enjoyed the smooching…
… but they couldn’t be stopped – it’s all above board now they’re married, although we can’t see their other hands:
The verdict: “Loved them, Jade’s been none stop looking at them this morning!!” and “Love the album! Everything looks brilliant”.
Glad we could do a fabulous day justice!
